Cost:

Residential: $1,000 per camper. Scholarships are available.
Commuter: $600 per camper. Scholarships are available.

Ever wondered how smart thermostats, smart doorbells, or other smart home devices worked? Welcome to the Illinois of Things summer camp, where you will explore the deep field of the Internet of Things! You will experience hands-on and project-based instructions and work with many IoT projects and devices! Beyond this, you get to hear from professors at the University of Illinois and industry experts! Come join us to learn the fundamentals of IoT and leave with an IoT project of your own!

Camp Coordinator(s):

Professor Matthew Caesar is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at UIUC. He is also an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, an Affiliate Research Professor in the Coordinated Science Laboratory, Affiliate Professor in the School of Information Sciences, and a member of the Information Trust Institute. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of ACM SIGCOMM.
