  • Work in teams to complete hands-on engineering projects in classes

  • Create team-building opportunities with other campers who share like-minded interests from around the US and the World

Presentations and Demonstrations:

Campers get an overview of all subjects of Engineering through presentations and demonstrations by our very own faculty and current Engineering students. This allows campers to learn more about each field and decipher what they love about Engineering by covering a broad curriculum to explore your options.

In WYSE Discover Engineering and Exploring Your Options (WYSE DE/ WYSE EYO) the curriculum is a general survey camp that visits many different departments within the College of Engineering at U of I.

In WYSE Bioengineering camp (WYSE BioE) the curriculum is an in depth look of specifically Bioengineering.

In WYSE Mechanical Science and Engineering/ Nuclear, Plasma, Radiological Engineering (WYSE MechSE/ NPRE) the curriculum is an in depth look of specifically Mechanical Science and Engineering and Nuclear, Plasma, Radiological Engineering.
